Seven children from Sean’s Dance Factory in West Palm Beach, FL were chosen to perform with Justin Bieber on his Purpose Tour stops in both Georgia and Florida. Back in March, Bieber and his choreographer, Nick Demoura, sent out an invitation to four young dancers from each city on his tour to join the singer onstage. The age limit was nine to fifteen years old and the video submission had to be entered by a certain deadline.

The kids had to learn a dance routine choreographed by Kevin Maher and videotape themselves performing it as well as explain why they wanted to be selected. The video had to include the hashtag along with the tour city name the child was planning on performing at. For example, #PurposeTourBoston.

The seven talented dancers are all from a dance crew called Lollipop Kidz. They learned the routine, cleaned the steps, and submitted the video all in one night. The kids selected include Josh Landry, Katherine Rodriguez, Rafi Rodriguez, Amelie Anstette, Malia Vega, Sofia Coaso and Jimmy Blain. One of them has already performed with Bieber at his concert in Jacksonville. Blain was chosen for his Atlanta show and one of the kids was selected for the first Miami concert on Saturday, July 2nd while the rest will be joining the singer on his encore Miami show, Sunday July 3rd.

“It’s very overwhelming, but it feels great kind of like a very proud father. The kids at SDF work and train hard, so my job is to make sure they’re properly groomed and molded correctly in the dance arena,” said Sean Green, studio owner and dance teacher. “We teach them how to encourage each other, love one another, and to have discipline to stay humble.”

So, we wish the Lollipop Kidz the best of luck and once again congratulate them on such an amazing accomplishment!
